Friends and neighbors are invited to a special unveiling of the new mural at Kingfisher this Saturday, June 18 at 4:30pm at 2469 Broadway.
The mural, painted by artist Celeste Byers, is called “Recherché”, a French word for rare. The Vietnamese woman in the painting is holding a magical lily and is surrounded by art nouveau style foliage to pay homage to the restaurant’s Vietnamese and French-inspired cuisine. The mural concept was a collaboration between the artist and Quan, one of the owners of Kingfisher to celebrate that which is unique, rare, and beautiful!
